Nourishing Communities,
Growing Together
Building a resilient food system in Haiti through local partnerships, sustainable agriculture, and community empowerment
Our Mission
The Haiti Food System Alliance strengthens food security by connecting local agricultural production with institutional feeding programs across Haiti. We work with a coalition of 15 local organizations to build sustainable, locally-driven solutions to food insecurity.
Through value chain investments, research, policy advocacy, and systems coordination, we’re creating lasting change in how Haiti feeds itself.

Whether you’re a farmer, organization, or supporter, there are many ways to get involved in strengthening Haiti’s food systems.
The COVID-19 crisis, and especially the border closures between Haiti and the Dominican Republic, revealed just how vulnerable our communities in the Far North are when it comes to food. That’s what inspired me and my fellow agronomy students at Quisqueya University to launch TRIPLE AGRO.
We wanted to bring innovation into agriculture and make our region more self-sufficient. Today, we grow six different crops for local consumption using improved seeds and drip irrigation. These technologies have helped us increase our yields while protecting our limited resources.
Thanks to funding from the Haiti Food System Alliance and a year-long incubation program from CLE, along with mentorship from HFSA Production Partners, we’re growing not just crops, but a sustainable future for our region.
