Members
Production Partners
The Alliance represents diverse local partners working across agriculture, education, healthcare, and community development in Haiti. More importantly, Alliance members represent and consist of hundreds of Haitian staff and workers, thousands of Haitian farmers, students and patients, and dozens of affiliated Haitian community organizations.
Given a strong focus on employment equity, family economic security, and income generating opportunities, the Alliance was founded by six partners all working in rural communities at the start of value chains to increase farmer production:
ACAPE
Association of Environmental Managers
Acceso
Acceso Haiti
AZA
Association Zanmi Agrikòl
HCDF
The Haiti Christian Development Fund
KORE
KORE Foundation
PDL
Partenariat Developpement Local
Partenariat pour le Développement Local (PDL) is committed to rebuilding rural Haiti as the foundation for the revitalization of the entire country. They play a central role in creating a network of local leaders and organizations across the country that implement agroecological practices.
15 Local Organizations
Despite bringing together 15 proven local organizations representing thousands of farmers, students, and patients, and dozens of community organizations, the Alliance will also seek to rapidly add and engage central and local government offices and other production, service, and feeding partners throughout the country in the years to come. Continued growth, expansion and partnership building with other organizations will increase the Alliance’s impact and overall sustainability.
