Feeding Partners
We believe that Haitians can feed Haiti. Core to the HFSA, are strategic partnerships with health and education organizations that feed thousands of vulnerable Haitians, every day. Building on past partnerships and years of successful feeding initiatives, the Alliance includes the following three (3) strategic feeding partners:
MSN
Model School Network
Model School Network’s mission is to improve the life outcomes for children in the Central Plateau through a sustainable, multi-layered, data-driven, and effective government and civil society partnership model for the Haitian educational system
HEI
Health Equity International
Health Equity International provides essential health services to the people of southern Haiti, especially the most vulnerable.
Zanmi Lasante
Partners in Health
Zanmi Lasante (ZL), a sister organization to Partners In Health in Haiti, was founded in the early 1980s to respond to these health needs in the rural community of Cange and has since expanded to a network of 15 clinics and hospitals across the Central Plateau and lower Artibonite, two of the country’s most underprivileged and remote regions.
15 Local Organizations
Despite bringing together 15 proven local organizations representing thousands of farmers, students, and patients, and dozens of community organizations, the Alliance will also seek to rapidly add and engage central and local government offices and other production, service, and feeding partners throughout the country in the years to come. Continued growth, expansion and partnership building with other organizations will increase the Alliance’s impact and overall sustainability.
