The Haiti Christian Development Fund (HCDF) has been working in Fond-des-blanc since 1982 with one goal: the global development of Haitian rural communities. HCDF is a non-profit organization based in the USA. Its aim is to develop Christian communities in a rural area of Haiti. Its basic principle is to proclaim the good news to the poor in word and deed through reconciliation, resettlement and redistribution. HCDF’s mission is to promote community development that is people-centered and led by Haitian leaders. They are committed to enhancing the dignity of each person and believe that collaboration and inclusiveness are the keys to lasting change.
